Leonardo Madrussa was born in 2004, and moved to Milan in 2023 where he still lives and studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
This is a collection of work produced from 2023 to today. No animals were injured or killed in the making of this body of work, but WE kept rotting and germinating.

In the process of researching and studying man's conception of the dog as an animal, tool and companion throughout history and cultures, I came across the “Internet Archive” site. I chose to use only archival video and audio material to recreate an audiovisual experience that represents an instant of the Internet that is the definition of the human/animal relationship.

In October 2024, while watching one of the many video essays on scary topics on YouTube, I first heard Chris Benoit's name. This work is in no way related to his personal figure, his family, or any event in his career or life. I just hope we can all agree that we, as humanity, LOVE big muscular male bodies fighting each other, and will always continue to do so.
